This little bit works great for putting up the OSB ceiling in my wood shop. It is adjustable so you can get the right screw depth and worked perfect. I had to replace the phillips bit about halfway through the ceiling, but all in all the product worked perfectly

It's hard to get to know how to use , if your novice at dry wall , now if one has some knowledge of drywall ,there would be some getting used to this tool . As it dimples and does not stop at appropriate depth , but to some one who knows how far to drive the screws no worries , now it has adjustments for depth but it's hard to move . This to me is a touch up fitting for use when finishing the tape and mud . Montana

This is the stuff. If you just have to do a repair or two and don't want to invest in a drywall screw drill, the Dimpler does exactly what you need. You can drive screws into drywall to the perfect depth and it does it every time, and you don't have to try to "feather" the screwhead into the drywall or anything, you just let the drill run full speed and the Dimpler just disengages when it reaches the pre-set depth. It'll keep spinning as long as you hold down the drill's trigger, but it won't drive the screw any deeper than you told it to. Exactly what you want.Takes a while to find the exact setting your drill and your drywall and your screws need, so spend a bit of practice time on a spare piece. And always check the setting ring to make sure it's set to the depth you want; seemed like it could drift a bit after driving a lot of screws. If I was a drywall contractor, I wouldn't touch this thing, I'd get a real drywall drill. But for a homeowner putting up a few sheets, this thing is perfect.

Used it once, dropped it and its broke into many pieces. I would think that something that is designed. for all day use on a construction job would be more durable.
