I installed this on my rv under the awning, I could not be more happy with how it works. The rgbw is the only way to go, as having the dedicated white led saves a ton of power consumption. Also to get VHB tape to stick to the silicone sleeve the trip is in, you have to clean it and use an adhesion promoter.

This is a great item if you are aware of the details. I am using this under cabinets for feature lighting and not really for the effects requiring individual LED accuracy. If you're using this with WLED for the ESP8266 board here's what you need to know:1) The LEDs are addressable in groups of 3's. Yes, 1 IC controls 3 LEDs. I set a segment size of 1 LED and 3 lit up. I the used a segment size of 2 LEDs and 6 lit up. It's in the item description, too.2) Use beta firmware 0.14 or better.3) Under LED Preferences select SK6812 RGBW for the LED output, Color Order of BRG and Swap W&G. If you don't see the Swap feature, update your firmware.4) Under LED Preferences select LED voltage of 12V (30mA).5 Stars for fitting the description perfectly.

Just received two spools. Tried them both with two different controllers - SP639E and SP617E. In both cases you have clear blue color instead of white, white instead of red, red instead of green, green instead of blue. !!!UPDATE. It can be fixed in BanlanX APP settings. Now the score is 5! Thanks

Works great with neopixelbus and the SK6812 protocol.Each group of 3 pixels is addressable together, not individually.

I am putting some 12 volt ribbon lights under the edge of the bed in my motorhome. I originally ordered the wrong parts for my application. Someone from BTF notified me within 24 hours to let me know that the items I had ordered would not work together. After a bit of back and forth letting them know what I wanted to do they set me up with the parts that I needed to get my project done. They also answered each of my questions about the parts and install quickly and efficiently to make the install easy and work just as I envisioned it. BTF is going to be my go to for any and all of my ribbon light projects yet to come in my RV remodel and any other projects yet to come. Fantastic service, which is difficult to come by these days.
