Delicous Bunn Coffee Carafe, holds hot coffee all day and never cries out in pain or frustration. Well designed. I have gone thru a half a dozen or maybe even 6 of the glass carafes. They shatter, cause the fools let them burn dry as they attempt to appease the caffeine gods with the smell of scorched coffee solids bubbling like tar in a volcanic pit, black sulphur oozing, smoking, crumbling and eventually shattering the glass with its desperate attempt to return to the bowels of the earth.Whereas this fine plastic and aluminum contraption merely smiles and occasionly snickers as those of dubious mental abilities attempt to incinerate this finely engineered carafe. It is true blue, will always be there, and won't date your friends or key your car.I heartily recommend it, even if you don't own a bunn multipot coffee maker. Its a fine start and you can work up to a coffee maker when your fortune turns or you are finally ready to let go of your MR. Coffee blanket and buy a real coffee maker and stand on your two feet and make you way through the real world.

I bought this to replace the one I broke at work (not for home use!) And paid for the plastic top one. They're nearly invincible so dont waste your time buying the glass ones.Its been in the breakfast restaurant for 3 months now and still does the job perfectly.

Great pot, haven't had it for too long but so far it's proven durable and effective. With the stainless steel bottom, not worried about heating it on the coffee maker.

My workplace uses a BUNN coffee machine to serve the needs of our IT development team. We're about a staff of twenty people. When cleaning the BUNN decanters, they can be easily breakable. The coffee is good however the pots can be a problem. This decanter is plastic, but it holds coffee without any problems. After breaking three fragile glass BUNN coffee pots, I feel relieved to use a pot that is not fragile, but durable. It's pricer than the glass model, however if it's going to have a longer life span, then for mt it's worth the purchase.
