I got this to use with my online school. Some schools have distance and height requirements. This doesn't raise very much so I have to put it on books to make it work, but it is very stable.

I'd bought this for my webcam to do streaming two years ago, but my camera was able to rest on my monitor just fine without. Instead, I used the phone gripper to mount my phone to my bike handlebars on another base and that worked pretty well. the casing DID fracture, but in its defense, I ride hard and my phone is in an otterbox, so it kinda had to work harder than it was likely meant to.I ended up giving the setup to a friend and they use it to talk with their family hands free on video calls and it works great for their purposes. Still going two years later, so I can't complain!

The unit looks good, I gave it 4 stars only because I haven't used it that much yet for sturdiness and stability but sofar it's been working fine. 😏I did notice that the legs get a little loose so you need a tiny screwdriver to tighten up the little screws that holds the legs together to base.I will update later after my RV camp out next month - Nov 2021.. Note: yes I have other ones but I needed a solid legs and this even came with extensions on the legs and good price for what it is😊👍

As a newbie youtuber I wanted a good HD camera without spending hundreds of dollars... I bought this awesome little stand to go with my mew webcam and honestly it has made videos so much easier to make! I can set up basically anywhere with or without my laptop and the camera stays steady and sturdy! My only downfall is I wish it was a tighter fit, sometimes it feels a little loose and the camera will start to fall mid recording. I fixed it with a little glue and clay and it's fine now but maybe a design upgrade to resolve the issue would make this tripod even better
