These rubber boots are suited for a step ladder not a step stool. I needed to replace the feet on my Werner Step stool and these were much too big. Thanks though

As others have said, these will fit on the Krause multi-position ladder - if you heat them up and push them on while they are soft and flexible. It's not a perfect fit, but better than having no feet after the originals have broken off and gone away. I think that overall, they are too soft, as the feet tend to flex. If they are on a hard surface I think they will give too much when there is weight on the ladder - providing less that optimum support. So, only 3 stars - but still better than if your ladder has no feet. Huge caution and side note to anyone who still owns a Krause ladder. While searching for replacement feet, I discovered that there was a recall on some models of Krause ladders back around the early 2000s I believe. Seems the hinge and lock joints can fail causing the ladder to collapse under use. If you still own a Krause, you should seriously search the web for the recall.

These ladder feet are a great solution for the right ladder. Care should be taken to understand the measurements of both the ladder rails and these feet. In my case, they were close enough that I thought I would give them a try.I have had my multi-position ladder for over 25 years and looking up the original manufacturer proved fruitless. While the original feed were molding to fit the ladder rails and were flat along the top and bottom, these replacement feet were a workable solution.Since there was a bit of play and the feet would not stay on by themselves, I used a couple of truss head screws (ones with big heads) on each foot to hold them in place. I am pleased with the result and look forward to having a more stable footing and additional protection when the ladder is extended against a wall.If these feet closely fit your ladder, I would highly recommend them.

Prior to ordering really pay attention to the design of this product. I used it for an older small 8 ft aluminum A-frame ladder. It actually didn't fit the larger feet and it was too big for the smaller back end part. I made it work by cutting it and folding it and then using duct tape. All in all that actually is a good product and it's made well I just bought it and I have the wrong ladder. I would recommend the product itself is very good quality just make sure it's right for your ladder.

After reading reviews from others who said they successfully used these to replace broken feet on the crossbar support on their Krause MultiMatic ladders, thought I'd give them a try. Glad I did as they worked quite well and got my great ladder back in service. The other reviews suggested using a heat gun for installation and also suggested filing off the square edges of the aluminum crossbar to make it slide on easier. I did not need to file as after using the heat gun for 30 seconds on medium heat I was able to get the foot about 1/2 inch onto the crossbar. I should mention that I removed the crossbar for the installation which made things much easier. After I had one foot started, I then used the heat gun to heat the entire foot (except of course not the treads but did heat the closed end). After the foot was quite warm, I tapped the end of the crossbar with the partially inserted foot on the concrete floor of the garage to drive it home. It easily seated and then I ran the foot under cold water to cause the plastic to re-harden. I repeated the procedure on the other end and estimate that it took no more than about 10 minutes to complete the installation. If you remove the crossbar, be sure to remember to reinstall the bushings that go over the bolts inside the aluminum extrusions so that they don't get crushed when you tighten up the locking nuts. It helps to label everything with a sharpie before you disassemble so that it's easier to get things back where they belong when you reassemble. I did not drill and screw these to the crossbar with a self-tapping screw as they seem quite tight and I do not believe that they will slip off. Should that not be the case I'll certainly screw them on later just did not want to drill any holes into the aluminum since it is already under considerable stress when the ladder is being used.
