I have used these for awhile, While they work pretty well, If you twist the cable "at all" while screwing the end cap on, or just during basic usage, It can, and most likely will pull some of the individual wires out of the connector.I have had this happen quite a bit.So, the fatter the cable, the better they will work. Or don't twist them during or after the install.I use these on Direct Burial Cable & they do well for this purpose.

The instructions are terrible, but once you get the hang of it, these are pretty easy to use. This is my first time terminating ethernet cable. In my opinion these are much easier to use than standard push through RJ45 plugs. To sum it up, the green and orange wires go through the holes first, then the blue and brown wires are pushed down into the slots. I practiced stripping and terminating four cables and they all worked perfectly. The clips in the pictures are beat up from practicing on them and taking them apart several times. I didn’t apply the foil tape on the practice cables in the pictures. Here are a couple of tips:1. They aren’t exactly tool free. You will need small straight cutters, wire strippers and pliers. I’d recommend buying an ethernet tool kit with a tester. You’ll probably want to purchase parallel pliers if you’re doing a lot of these.2. You will want to completely remove the foil from the shielded cable (then apply the foil tape) or the cable may be too wide for the end to screw on.3. Arrange the wires in order, then slide the green and orange wires through the holes followed by pushing the blue and brown wires down into the slots4. After pushing down the green and orange wires you will want to cut all of the wires as close to the white plastic clips as possible.5. You will need to use pliers to gently seat the white cable holder into the body of the plug.6. Screw it together and test your plugs. Good Luck!

Para mi aplicación, es muy grueso el conector. En general cumple con el objetivo. El precio se me hizo un poco elevado.

I recently did a job where I needed to use heavy duty Cat6 cable and required "heavy duty" connectors. I decided to try these over traditional RJ45's. I carefully followed the directions to assemble the first one (about 20 minutes), then proceeded to install the others in 8-10 min or less each. Very rugged once installed and provide the look of a professional connection. Passed all the Cat6 speed tests and will probably last for years in the application. Highly recommended. One Caution: be very careful to select the proper cable diameter or they will not work and pay close attention to the wire color labels.

This is the first time I am using those jacks, it is just easy to use, and almost tool-less design, you still need to cut the extra wire though.Originally, I thought this won't be a good idea, since it looks so bulky and doesn't look like something that you can trust in enterprise environment, BUT i was wrong. The build was just sturdy, and very, very reliable. I have already replaced all my old jacks with this type of jacks, and it is simple to swap, and it is also reusable!KEYWORD! Reusable. Not saying that you will really reuse it from time to time, but if you need to retire a server, or a computer, this can be simply take out, unplugged and then rewire and put into a new server.Very, very good product!

Folks, these things are not cheap, but if we go by what you pay is what you get, well you get the value for your money. They are bulky, for a fragile equipment or something that you need to connect/disconnect often, I will look for something else. For a "permanent" connection I think they are the best. They are truly crimperless, you don't need a RJ45 crimper. These connector are good for a quick job, at home or office, for a cable guy I dont think so.Anyway, they are very easy to wire. I am attaching some closeup shots, do the round holes that you see on the pictures first, follow the colors, you probably will do the B, at the bottom colors dont change, they are the same for A or B type. You will need a flush cutter to trim the excess of wires, that's it.
