This is a very sturdy, and protected looking cable. With any luck, it should last for many, many years. Technically, it is a high quality ethernet cable underneath the protective ends, so it can also be used for other networking needs.

__The "Yunir Cable, 150FT to 225FT Satellite Replacement Extension Cable, IP68 Waterproof Accessories with Ethernet Terminals, Support 1000M Protocol" is a welcome addition to our tool. As we are in an ongoing process reposition our satellite receiver to a more or less permanent location, the additional cable will come into play. Any extra length will be use to extend the internal wiring to location needed. The inside run for the RV also included an extra cable use to power a POE Access Point when we are at home or other location with wire internet access. A cable tester indicated it act like it is a straight through cable, with a female connector__
