Replaced the 20 year old winch before the strap took its last load. I’m satisfied with the quality but it is a bit smaller than the original winch. No one else would know!

Bought this to replace a Fulton on my boat trailer because the F/R latch broke on the Fulton. I will say that despite this being a 3500# winch, it doesn't seem nearly as robust as the 2600# it's replacing. The framing is lighter, the main gears are one piece, as opposed to sandwiched plates, and there is a concerning amount of side to side slop in the F/R lever which means only 1/2 to 3/4 of the tooth interlocks with the drive gears.However, I just installed it and haven't put it through any paces yet, so it may work just fine. It's less than half the price of the Fulton, but I do realize if it end up failing, that doesn't really matter anymore.I'm gonna use it a few times and see how I feel about it.

Handle broke on 1st use and lucky the product didn't free wheel.
