We installed this box on the back of our shop where we don't spend a lot of time, but occasionally need an outlet. Installation was simple, it has a couple sets of knock-outs on the bottom and back which were fine for our needs. We wanted something a little more robust than a plastic box like you'd put on your house since we move stuff around and the area is pretty heavily treed. This box is ruggedly made and should stand up to having a branch fall on it without problem. There is plenty of room to work inside, and there is room to leave something with a right-angle plug still plugged in and the door closed. The GFCI provides protection in the outdoor location and we get a lot of rain. There are a couple of holes in case you need to lock it.

I have a regular style box with the flip cover next to my pool. and I thought it was time for an upgrade. The all in one design of this is really nice, and I got the dual outlet version so I have some extra plugs near my pool for when we have parties and other things.The quality overall is really nice, I would expect it to hold up for a while and after a few months we haven't had any issues. The punches in the bottom are nice, and great for any conduit you need to run up to it.Highly recommended!

This is a well constructed outdoor outlet box designed for use with the cord plugged into the outlet. The steel is thick and the finish appears durable (only time outdoors will tell). The GFCI outlet is UL listed and WR (weather resistant) rated. These are all good. The not-so-good is the box itself has no visible listing label or stamp - which is required by NFPA 70 (and your insurance carrier). A picky electrical inspector will not approve the use of this box if there is no UL/ETL/CSA/CE sticker or stamp (assuming it gets inspected). One star off for the lack of the listing on the box.

Was easy to install providing two GFCI, duplex receptacles in a weather proof enclosure. Have not found anything less expensive that included all these features.
