This GaryVault biometric mounted gun safe is fairly priced and is easily mountable. I mounted this to the side of an entertainment center in my living room, out of sight, but easy enough to access. There are multiple ways to access your firearm, whether key code, fingerprint or a physical key. This is great for those who have little ones in the home or others that should not be able to gain access to a firearm easily. This safe keeps out those who should not have easy access to firearms, but allows you to gain access in seconds to grab your firearm to protect yourself or your family from intruders and possible home invasions. I have this mounted purposely to give me piece of mind that I will have a firearm ready and available if needed on one end of my home, as I have others located on the other. This allows me to feel safe and secure in multiple ways knowing I have ease of access without worrying someone else will find it and be able to gain access without my key, fingerprint or code to open the safe.There are simple instructions to follow, although a couple of times I had to read over them in order to make sure I understood how to program my fingerprint and code, but it is much easier than the instructions make it seem. However, I am used to doing things without reading instructions and I always end up figuring out how to make things work. This is a good safe, with some heft to it. It is a little heavy, and feels like quality. How well will it hold up over time, who knows, but it is definitely worth a try. It has a fair price, compared to similar safes that can be upwards of $150, this safe is currently under $100 and I believe it is worth every penny. It protects your firearm, while making it easy for your to protect yourself in seconds. This is a great device and glad I picked it up when I did.

First off, I'm giving 4 stars because the programming instructions could be more clear but overall it's a handy little safe to keep your pistol safely locked away when not needed.I found this to be a bit bigger than expected and feel that a slightly smaller version would be more applicable for my S&W MP EZ9, but I'm ok with a bit of extra space for some other items I may want to keep in there.Programming it took a few reads through the instructions to understand them but once I understood it only took a few minutes.It comes with 2 keys to access it as well as a power cord port in case the batteries die and you need to manually access it to replace them and retrieve your firearm.With the fingerprint scanner it opens fairly quickly but I find that I have to touch the sensor once to wake it up and a 2nd time to actually scan it and the same for entering my access code. It's not a big deal to me at this time but it could be a big deal in the case of an emergency.I'm likely going to mount this inside of a vehicle but I am undecided at this time. All in all I'm pleased with the function of this and would recommend it to others, I will probably be ordering another one for my wife to keep her own firearm secure when not in immediate use.
