I don’t like them QUITE as much as my hiking socks in terms of pure cushiness, but are stronger than my hiking socks. I just wanted some orange socks to go with my orange shoes that I wear with my orange gym clothes, because orange is a good color for people who like the color orange and I like to tell people that at the gym that I’m not body building I’m just under construction- but to my surprise they were also just high quality socks apart from the color. They’ve got extra padding where they need it, they aren’t stretching out, they aren’t fading- now if I just needed some sturdy work socks that would hold up inside a pair of construction boots, I’d buy from this company.

I work a 12 hour shift in a busy hospital and I'm on my feet for the majority of it. Compression socks are a must. These also provide much needed cushion, don't slip or slide and are easily machine washable. I have not had any issues with shrinking or color fading. Sizing was based on shoe size and the fit is perfect. These are thicker than normal Compression socks but the thickness makes them high quality and worth the cost.

These socks are advertised as compression socks. I wear men's size 9 shoes which is near the small end of the size range for these socks. I feel a little compression around my ankle, but none around the front of my feet. Maybe if your feet are near the larger end of the size range you will feel more compression. These socks have some cushioning around the ball and heel, but nowhere near the advertised "thick cushion". The amount of cushioning is OK for basketball and running, but these socks are also advertised for hiking and mountain climbing and I think the cushioning is very inadequate for that.Stitching quality is a little underwhelming for the $12 price. I can get better quality socks for less money from name brands like UnderArmour or Adidas.
