The tray is a good size balance between compact and usability. The light is bright enough to see even in a room with lights on so the image is easy to follow. When changing the size of the image it does take a moment to learn how to get the image sharp, but becomes simple even for my 8-year-old.The images provided have a good variety, although some are duplicated. It would have been better to keep them different or leave them blank for us to make our own instead of repeats. I am unsure if there is a way to add some custom images from slides, but the light is bright enough to trace an image under the page for more ways to use this. This would be a great gift, and not just for kids. I do wish it was easier to expand the images included, and the plastic was thicker to help it last beyond drops since it is for kids.The overall build quality feels solid, but still plastic so we try to keep it stationary. The lights have not overheated and functions great even after an hour of continuous use. Since I have never been great at drawing, this allows me to feel like I can draw better.My husband and I have loved using this, and many other family members have jumped in when they visit. The coolest part is seeing what different people choose and how they put their designs together. We have used this to make story books, cards, and even some stick puppets to put on a show. I never thought how many ways this would be used, but with this many people using this, it will not gather dust anytime soon.

This is a family favorite!!! We purchased this forMy daughter’s 6th birthday, and it was a hit!!! Everything fits inside the case. The projector is perfect. This a must buy!!!

Excellent unique product - 4 year old granddaughter was amazed and entertained. Recommend this for any kid that likes tracing and colouring. Mermaid theme on top a nice touch.
