Best looking calcifer figure out there! The item looks just like the picture, and it's fun to add to any collection. I haven't put a battery in it yet so I'm not sure how bright it lights up, but even without the light on it warms up any space. The quality is great, but I was a bit surprised to find that the fireplace portion is rubber instead of a metal or plastic. But it fits great on my shelf and I love it!

I love it! However, mine came with a scratch on his face, hench one less star. A lot bigger than I thought it would be and it's quite sturdy. Also I wish it came with battery, so there's no report as of how bright the light is.

The shape and looks are fine. The finish is ok. The pull back is too weak and does not work. The magnetic attraction that holds the coaches together is not good enough if one tries to push the train and they come apart. Basically, this is not good playing but ok for looks.
