It seems after installing this my heater controls (blower motor) remains able to turn off with key off, out of ignition.

Look its a easy thing to swap out even for us car fix challeged people. But the part lasted 3 weeks and the fan controller part is once again dead after working 15 days. Of course to get it back out you are ikey to bust the plastic ears that hold it in place rendering it unreturnable. Original one lasted 24 yrs. Will give 4 stars on the off chance a wire harness issue fried the part but... Grr. I need that fan control working longer thsn 15 days. Went in a k1500 chevy suburban OBS.
