2006 Raleigh Cadent 5.0 specification says 1-1/8" integrated. Unfortunately, that's not helpful and I made the mistake of buying a IS41 headset that did not fit. After measuring the headtube, the inner diameter is 43.9mm and the outer diameter is 50mm which translates to the ZS44/ZS44 standard for both top and bottom of the headtube. Installed very easily and like most Cane Creek products is very well made/machined.So glad I can keep my trusty steed from the turn of the millennium rolling after my old stock aheadset started endlessly leaking grease. Huge upgrade here to sealed bearings.

This is a perfect replacement headset for a straight tube 1 1/8 in fork. Bought a cheap brand before and had endless problems. This was set up and done in 30 minutes no issues. Great quality product.

Nice headset, great upgrade from an old loose bearing headset. Installed with allthread, fender washers/nuts to pull it into place.

Installation was straight-forward, having the tools to install makes it very manageable (headset press, grease, mallet, headset removal tool or wrapped rebar and a sharp wrapped screwdriver), If one does not have the headset press, maybe consider going to a bike mech, this is too simple an installation to damage your bike frame in winging the installation. Knocking out the previously installed headset cups was the most challenging part. You can use a length of rebar and mallet to knock these out and then then the sharp screwdriver and the mallet to knock loose the previously installed crown race from your fork.I re-used the star nut that was already in my bike as I did not have the tool to install a star nut and did not want to put one in crooked, the cane creek star nut is a nice black colour but appears identical to my stock nut. Use a quality bike grease (parktool or phil wood) as this will contribute to sealing water and dust out.A very well made product both in design, aesthetic and construction. Steering movement is hella smoother and the ability to seal out water, dust is evident with the quality seals and cap. Durability has to be tested on the trails over time but I have no doubt this headset will stand up. When finished installation, test for play and do the ole' drop test and observe if anything rattles or comes out of place and adjust accordingly.
