I took a stab at ordering these for my daughter because I didn't have anything to go off since I have never needed to purchase tap shoes before. They looked a little narrow and I thought they might be snug on the sides of her feet, but she said they were comfortable and she seemed to be walking around just fine in them so time may tell but very happy with our purchase. I'd say they are true to size but size up if you are unsure. As far as how they look, they are adorable. I love that they have a band across the top of the foot to hold them securely and then lace on top to tie a bow - so cute! They seem well made and I think they will hold up nice through my daughters first tap classes!

I purchased these and a similar pair by Bloch for my 4 year old to try since she's starting dance lessons.Got them in black patent color. There's a fixed elastic strap and the shoes can be worn with just the elastic straps. Or you can use the included grosgrain ribbon laces which allows you to better control the fit.Daughter wears size 10. I ordered 11. There's some room but they're not as big on her as actual size 11 shoes. So I think other reviewers recommending to size up is the way to go.The two brands looked very similar. I actually like this pair because the inserts are pink and feel slightly thicker and softer. The toe box seemed shorter and rounder which I found cuter.But after my daughter tried them both on, she insisted on the Bloch pair. Both brands are similar quality and similarly priced. Can't go wrong with either!

Las zapatillas de tap son de excelente Calidad,muy bonitas!! llegaran mas grandes que pense en la talla pero un error mio, y se lo regrese super facil y compre la talla mas chica que le quedo Perfecto a mi niña! Llego muy rápido también hasta Mexico!

They look fine however I can't believe how incredibly off the sizing is and furthermore the shape of the shoe is completely inappropriate for a toddlers foot. I have a 21 month old and I have never had a shoe sizing problem and to this degree I purchased these 1/2 size bigger and the shoe is so narrow it's actually deformed her foot will not even go into the shoe so much more even remotely fit. I have to send back and find another brand.

My daughter has pretty wide feet, and based on the reviews I read, I ordered the wide and they are still very very narrow. She currently wears a 7.5 and I ordered her an 8.5 shoe. The length fits well. Its a really narrow/snug fit overall but I think it will work fine. The quality seems to be really good and the shoes are really nice looking. (I am new to the dance world, this is my daughter's first dance class, so I'm unfamiliar with the brands and fit and quality etc)Addition:My daughter has been going to dance classes for a while now and I was initially worried that the shoes would be too tight (width) for her, but she has been perfectly fine. Its been a few months now and her feet still fit very well. I am very happy with these shoes. I changed my review from 4 to 5 stars. I also did not initially appreciate just how adorable the little bow from the ties on the shoes are. So cute!
