I ordered my regular shoe size 8 because it was suggested, without paying attention to the reviews. They were tight and short, so I returned them. Then ordered 8.5 Wide and they are perfect. Can’t wait to wear them for my class this week. They are soft and the size now is right. So I recommend go up a half size and if your feet are medium width, go with the Wide option.

I don't know anything about dance shoes. I just know that I liked the style and it was on sale. After reading all the reviews about issues with sizing, I took a gamble and decided to just go with what Amazon said would fit me best according to their customer data (the only difference being I chose the 11 wide instead of regular 11 because my feet are flat and wide). First time wearing, it was a bit snug, but the length and width was fine and it has since stretched out to a more comfortable fit. I do wear socks (thicker than nylons) so that's something you might want to take into consideration.Again, I have no knowledge about dance shoes, so wearing them comfortably took some time, especially since I'm not used to the split sole. My flat feet don't have arch support, but I already knew that considering the style. I might try to see if I can successfully use an insole, otherwise, these shoes are fine to wear for an hour class, twice weekly.

I have been taking Ukrainian dance classes since the end of October 2019. I needed jazz shoes, so we tried Kijiji. Those ended up being too small, and when I tried to stretch them with water, the insole fell out on the heel of one. I needed jazz shoes, and after researching, these seemed like a pretty good option.I'm about a size 9 street, so I took Capezio's advice and I got a size 9 wide. I have pretty wide feet and, honestly, these caused strain on the shoe and pain when I wore them for the first while. However, the lace up ones had a big gap between my ankle area and the shoe, which made them feel loose around the heel. I don't think I'll be buying those ones again. Most sources I've seen say that after a few wears, these shoes will be stretched. I've had mine for two months tomorrow, and one of the shoes still isn't stretched enough to be completely comfortable. I take a 1 hour class weekly and I often practice at home. I don't know why, but the left one is really well stretched. The right one is still a bit tight. I think it might be because I often use my left foot for turns. On another note, the sizing was pretty accurate. I might go half a size up next time (if I buy them again, and frankly, I probably will because I love these shoes.) for optimum comfort, but I don't know. The elastic is holding up really well, and the bottoms aren't too worn out yet, so these could last me for a while. The shoes have a nice build and are pretty comfortable to wear once they're stretched to your foot. I love these shoes even if the leather is a bit tight (For now! They'll stretch eventually!). I would definitely recommend them! Also, because they're slip-on, you can just slide them on, so really convenient.
