Great unit and makes excellent tea. The caraf is very thin glass and mine broke in less than a year.

I purchased this item and an additional glass carafe. After following all instructions and having it only for a couple of months, both of the carafes have broken. Literally cracked when ice was placed in the carafe. The ice wasn’t dropped in with force or put into a warm pitcher. This is not good quality and I don’t recommend. Have requested a refund / credit from seller. Will update post once resolved.

Took a bit long to adhere but once I got it on it was perfect. I don’t think I will have to sow it down.
