Button don’t always work and it doesn’t really clip together all the way.

Overall the quality is very good. Being metal (instead of the plastic that the paint peeled off of), it is much heavier than the OEM key and feels more solid. I would give this 5 stars but for one major flaw: the OEM metal/cut key that slides into the fob does NOT fit into this model. I was hoping to just slide my existing one into the new fob, but alas it is cut so the catch inside the fob doesn’t align. Hard to see but tried to capture it in photo.So now I have to find someone who cuts BMW keys like this, or risk being locked out of my car should the battery on the fob die and I not have a spare CR2025 on my person.Just a heads up. I’ve only needed to use the metal cut key once in the last 10 years, but it’s the only fail safe if you get locked out.

Just copped this Replacement Keyless Entry Key Fob Case and it’s like a luxury makeover for my keys! 🚗💨 I hooked it up to my BMW X5 and the quality? Chef's kiss! 🤌 Perfect fit, premium feels, and seriously raises the bar for key fob fashion. But keep in mind, it doesn’t sport the BMW logo in the middle, so if you’re trying to flex that faded emblem, this might make you pause. Still, if your old fob looked like it survived a saga, this sleek cover is a no-brainer upgrade!
