**Update** I wish I'd never wasted my money on this piece of junk and simply plumbed the lines without it. Even with my new non-brass fittings, this thing has done nothing but leak from every port on it. It's impossible to bleed the rear brakes as anytime I build pressure, I lose my fluid. If you need it, go buy a more expensive one. If you don't, don't even worry about it. People were driving for a long time before ABS came along. The brake lines in my 97 Ford Ranger rusted out so I decided to replace the entire braking system. That included this part, being the cheapest one I could find but the most expensive part I've put I've purchased thus far.I can't speak to the functionality of it yet as I can't use it yet.The brake line ports on the original were 7/16-24 inverted flare. The ports on this one are 1/2-20 inverted flare. They put brass adapters in it to reduce to 7/16-24. Unfortunately these brass fittings are extremely cheap and the stripped out when I was attempting to finger tighten the new fittings. I'm not new at this. There is no reason the threads should have stripped. I spun them backward to align the threads. I watched for any cocking to indicate a cross thread. Everything looked good but as the fittings sank about 4 threads deep (again, by finger. I hadn't put a wrench on it yet) I felt it pop and saw the threads shave off.Needless to say, I wasn't happy.I've ordered some stainless adapters to replace the cheap brass ones they installed, something I wouldn't have had to worry about had the ports themselves been the correct size, or if they'd used quality adapters. In any case, the vehicle is now going to be down for another week as I'm waiting for the adapters to even see if this part works as advertised.

I have a 1994 Ford Ranger with rear ABS (R-ABS). Under panic braking the rear brakes would lock up and not release for several seconds (no ABS light) even though the brakes were no longer engaged. I installed this remanufactured ABS valve and my R-ABS now works perfectly! Googled “Cardone Rebate” and filled out the quick info to get shipping label to send back core at no cost to me. Expecting a $13 check back. Not much, but worth the 5 minutes.

Replaced original module , easy to install , one bolt to mount and then break lines were an exact tread . Breaks respond very good with the new module.
