Used for a scooter. My 92 year old user ripped the connector apart by pulling on the cord. I taped it up for added strength and put a stripe on it so that it is easier to align during plugging/unplugging.

My Quantum Edge3 power chair was totally dead. I got this charger to "repair, recondition, and charge" the original batteries and it worked wonderfully. HAPPY this solved my problem and DO recommend this item.

First, I just recently received this charger. And so far, I am impressed. It is well built. And contrary to other reviews it absolutely DOES HAVE AN ON/OFF SWITCH. To repeat: This model has an ON/OFF SWITCH! However, there is some confusion because there seems to be three different models of this charger which are not clearly differentiated. One is a "base" model, another has allegator clips, and the third model (which I purchased) has the 3 prong onnector and is the most expensive. To make a long story as short as possible, I purchased a Pride Go-Go Sport 4-wheel mobility scooter about a year ago... Recently, the batteries failed and the factory-supplied charger seems to be the culprit. The charger, all plastic, no fan, no on/off switch seems to have failed its function of being a battery maintainer "float" charger and burned up the batteries. So I ordered this charger which appears to be much better built, has a cooling fan, and does have the on/off switch and is also a battery maintainer float charger. So, now that I have new batteries, I used the new charger to top off the new batteries. The charger worked flawlessly. And the LED lights that show the four stages of charging worked. So far, I am very pleased. The old factory-supplied so-called battery charger/maintainer took over 12 hours to show a "green" fully charged battery; this one showed fully charged in just 3 hours. Very happy so far! Only quibble is $50 is expensive!

It works great it even seemed to add longevity to the length of time the charge lasts for, The original charger would stop the chair from being moved while the charger was plugged in, This 1 the chair can be moved while charging, seemed to take a bit of time but works extremely well There is NO LEDs on the top those are just on the sticker LEDs are on the end below the charge cord, beside the fan, it makes a little noise but its OK. Worth buying, the 1st one I looked at raised the price $15.00 when they seen there was traffic looking at it so I wasn't going to buy their overpriced charger specially when I seen them raise the price that fast

I use this product to maintain the batteries on my GK-10 Shoprider scooter, but it would work with many scooter and possibly wheelchair models. Being an obsolete power systems engineer, I was absolutely astounded by all the different things this charger does (almost all of which I had to do by hand via the "guess-and-hope" back in the day). If its reliability matches its features list (which I can't yet say, since I've had it less than a week), it will be one of the best chargers I've ever owned.
