I could not tell the difference between this charge and the original one that came with my Zbook 17 G3 Laptop. It worked great, a lot of power to run the GPU and worked better than expected. I recommend the power supply. Keep in mind, it will works with all hp laptops that use the Blue tipped power charger from what I could tell. I did test it on other HP laptops that were not a Zbook.

This charger works with my 17 inch HP Envy. I think it is supposed to work with all HPs that have a blue tip on the plug that goes into the laptop. The cord seems strong but the connection between the power cord and power pack is a little loose. I had it on my desk and it got jostled a little and the plug loosened enough to stop providing power. Other than that it works fine. I’ll use this as a second power pack for my work location.

I picked this charger up for my HP ZBook and it has been a solid so far. The charger delivers a powerful 230W output, which easily supports my demanding workstation tasks without overheating or slowing down. It’s helpful for heavy-duty applications, such as running resource-intensive programs. The build quality is really nice and solid, and the blue pin fits perfectly into my device, and provides a secure connection. I also like that this charger is compatible with multiple HP models, including the Thunderbolt Dock G2.The charger is on the pricier end, which might be a deterrent for some users. Additionally, the bulky design makes it less ideal for traveling or on-the-go use, especially if you prefer lighter accessories. If you’re looking for a high-performance charger for professional use or gaming, this is a great, reliable option that delivers excellent power output and stability.

It works just fine for my HP gaming laptop. Powers it up and runs it fine. The cords both 'feel' wrong, are not quite the right material (not silicone rubber) and the quality of the plastics of the adapter seem off, with voids and injection molding flaws that i know HP wouldn't let fly. I suspect these are factory rejects, after hours production runs, or clones.Works fine, and might be okay for use for a few months or as a home based adapter, but i wouldnt expect the cord to survive the rigors of travel for a long time like the OEM adapter can.
