Esta laptop tiene un chip que no permite cargadores genericos. Cuando se conecta uno que no es Dell original se pone muy lenta y pone un aviso al respecto. Sin embargo, este cargador fue detectado como original, funciona perfecto y sin fallas.

As my 7588 power supply died, getting a replacement from the manufacturer direct was going to be my choice. But when this one showed up on Amazon, I decided to give it a try as I would get it far sooner than from the manufacturer. It arrived well packed and it was a direct replacement and works fine so far. Hopefully a few more year of my 7588.

When shopping for a charger for older Dell laptops, you want-19.5 volts-the 7.4mm x 5.0mm barrel plug-the same or more watts than the original laptop's chargerIt's OK to use a 90-watt charger on a computer that only requires 45-watts, but not vice versa.I'm happy with this charger. The AC cord plugs in firmly and doesn't pull loose. And all of our Dell laptops that use the barrel connector are happy to use this charger.I actually have more chargers than laptops, so that I can move from room to room without having to fuss with bring the adapter.This is a good charger at a fair price.

The original dell power supply brick died unexpectedly. This replacement was a drop-in, exact replacement.It's unremarkable in its simplicity that it just works. That's what is impressive as well, that it's a super-easy, inexpensive and exact replacement.

Not much else to say. Price was the main second factor for choosing this product over an original dell one.

Fit my dell docking station and the cord is super long. Price was very reasonable. No complaints look like it came from dell
