Right out of the box it looks sturdy and well made which is what you want to see with power adapters. The design is a bit bulky but that’s what you have to deal with to get 280W of power. The charger fits perfectly into my laptops 6.0 x 3.7mm connector. It's nice and snug so I don’t have to worry about it falling out while I’m gaming or working. This charger does an excellent job of quickly juicing up my laptop especially when I’m using it for demanding tasks like gaming. I’ve noticed that it charges faster than my previous adapter which really makes a huge difference. So far the charger doesn’t overheat like some others I’ve used in the past. It stays pretty cool and I can keep my focus on my gaming sessions instead of temps. The cord length is generous so I can easily reach a power outlet pretty much anywhere. If you have a gaming laptop you know that power is fast to go without a charger so having this is a must.

Pros:A fantastic substitute charger for my Asus ROG Strix G16.Charges my laptop quickly.The charger is rugged and sturdy and should last.The cable is just the right length, providing enough flexibility to use comfortably when connected.Efficient charging supports quick performance for demanding usage.Cons:The charger does heat slightly when in use for extended durations but hasn't caused me any problems so far.Verdict:So far, this charger is a fantastic alternative for charging my Asus ROG Strix G16. It charges accurately and efficiently and does it while being used intensely. It does heat up after prolonged use, but it is a sturdy and durable alternative. I'm really happy with it and would highly recommend it to someone who is in need of an alternative for charging for their Asus gaming laptop.

As my previous asus Rog strix power cable had seen better days and starting to fail at the dc jack. This was a perfect find in been able to continue using my laptop without any problems in powering the device. The cable is thick and seems to be reasonably well made considering the price. Its neither light or compact in size which the listing does say and is the roughly size of a medium sized portable HDD. However it does power the laptop without any problems and is a good non genuine replacement.I would recommend

I bought this as a replacement for my Asus ROG Strix, and overall, it works great. The build quality feels solid—the plastic casing is sturdy, the cables are thick and well-made, and the connector fits snugly without any looseness. Most importantly, it charges my laptop just like the original, and I haven’t noticed any overheating, which is a big plus.That said, the product listing is a little misleading. This charger is not lightweight or compact—it’s pretty bulky and definitely not something you’d casually throw into a small bag without noticing the weight. I wasn’t expecting it to be tiny (it’s a 280W charger, after all), but the description makes it seem smaller than it actually is.There are also some inconsistencies in the listing regarding wattage, and it’s unclear whether this is an official Asus product or a third-party alternative. It works perfectly fine, but more transparency would be nice. That being said, it’s a well-made, reliable charger at a much better price than buying directly from Asus. If you don’t mind the size and just need a solid replacement, this is a great option.
