I got a second plug in adapter for my office so I could leave the original at my house. So far it works fine.

WHY WE GOT THIS:We needed an extra power supply for use around our home with our 16" Macbook Pro M2 Pro and my work 14" M3 Pro Max. This power supply is just a third of the cost of an OEM charger, and works just fine on both laptops.I'm a big Apple fan, in a household with 4 Apple laptops, 3 iPhones, multiple Airpods-- so believe me when I say I understand the value of the brand's OEM equipment.BUT--honestly, paying another full $100 for an OEM Apple charger that we would use only as an extra seemed pointlessly wasteful. It actually *is* okay to buy some generic aftermarket parts for these devices and save some money :)I did some reading on the manufacturer Keyiyou, and their other hardware offerings seem to be well-reviewed overall.PROS:I have tested the unit on both of our Macbooks and it powered them both perfectly well. Same Orange = Charging, Green = Full lights on the head of the plug as the OEM ones. No apparent change in charge speed or quality, and the brick didn't smell of hot/burned plastic. Pretty uneventful experience really. It contains the voltage regulator/protection you would expect to keep from damaging your expensive computer, and it also has an adjustable power output so you can use it to charge anything that you like from the USB-C port on the brick-- I used a USB-C to USB-C cable I have laying around to charge a phone and it worked fine on that as well. The CE and RoHS symbols indicate they have met required materials/practices per all European Union regulations on electronic components-- this includes safe levels for hazardous Cadmium, Mercury, Lead, several Phthalates, ect.. (*always* look for these types of markings on electronics)CONS:1) There's a low-volume hum that I've noticed in the brick when it's plugged in, which isn't a big deal to us but could be to you- and 2) I was initially concerned with the seating of the magsafe head into my computer-- it seemed like it wasn't making a connection properly. Then I realized that there was a piece of clear protective cellophane tape wrapped around the head that I hadn't noticed and it was keeping the plug from inserting into the charge slot of the computer properly. When I removed it it fit fine. I took a pic of the cable and the tape after I'd pulled it off-- don't forget to remove yours before use.VERDICT:I'm happy to recommend this to anyone looking for a cheaper Apple power supply alternative-- first impression is very good-- it does the same work the Apple part does at 1/3 the price. If I discover any problems during future use, I will come back and revise this review to relay the information.

Seems to be relatively high quality. It has a fair amount of weight to it and although that is not a guarantee of quality, it can be an indicator. I am not using it for a mac, but for a windows laptop without issue. It does get pretty hot but not burning to the touch or anything. As long as it holds up, this seems to be a good charger for the price. I do wish it included a USB-C to C cable, but given that the price is not terribly high compared to other chargers that also don't come with it I can forgive that. Would have made for a better package deal though even if they added a couple bucks.
