This works perfectly with my Asus Vivobook. There were no problems and I just plugged it in to my laptop and then into the surge protector. Works as should and that is what you want.

The size of the transformer block is a bit larger than the original I had but the specs were the same on the voltage and output. The plug is the correct size. Build quality seems good. I'm using it now as I write this review and my PC is working fine with it. I have an Asus VivoBook S512F

One thing I noticed about this charger is that it says Asus on it as if it were an OEM charger, however, if you read the description, it does not appear to be that. I believe this is an aftermarket charger. Not that it matters, if it works, it works. Just be honest and don’t try to misrepresent something if it is in fact, not original equipment from the manufacturer.How much can you say about a laptop charger? Either works the Way you expect it to or it doesn’t. This particular charger certainly does work. My previous charger just died with no warning. I didn’t realize it and I was using my laptop and the battery died on me and I was unable to do any work for about 24 hours. Thankfully, Amazon was able to get a replacement shipped to me the next day. In an attempt to avoid this happening again, I ordered two of them so I would always have a back up. This was actually the second one that I ordered, it was intended as my back up. It works great and it charges my laptop exactly the way you would expect it to. After working all day on it, it does not get warm or feel overheated the way my old one did. It does the job and it does it exactly the way you would expect it to.Two things that I found worth mentioning about this charger. One is the fact that I don’t believe this is actually an original charger from the manufacturer, even though it is labeled as that. The name stamped on the charger does not match the name advertised in the listing for this charger. Again, who cares as long as it works. The big thing worth noting is, if you take a look at my photos, the stem that you plug into the laptop is about 1/8th to 3/16th of an inch longer than my old one was. That means it sticks out a ways from the computer. Again, maybe not a big deal, but it just makes it more likely that you could bump that pin and break it off inside the laptop if you move the laptop around while that is plugged in. Just something that I am aware of and going to be cautious with. Otherwise, it does the job, appears to be fairly well-made and durable, and was certainly listed at a decent price.

I got this laptop charger for my Asus Vivobook. It has functioned as good as the original as far as I can tell. It says Asus on it; I'm not sure if it is a real Asus or not? I don't care if it is genuine or not, as long as it works- and this does.

I've been through soooo many chargers for my laptop. The latest one just quit one night, so this is my 3rd or 4th try, but my first genuine Asus one. I should've just gotten Asus in the first place, but I'm cheap. When this showed up, I was surprised by how big the brick is. It's way bigger than my original one that came with the laptop, and seems to charge much MUCH faster. The only weird thing is that the plugs don't have the little holes in them like most plugs do. No biggie, it still works. We'll see if it lasts more than 6 months...

En la imagen del anuncio aparece un cargador Asus, viendo en realidad llega una genérico de un tamaño mayor al original. Parece funcionar adecuadamente, pero si busco a un reemplazo original no lo es.
