I was waiting to see if the charger works on my computer. I tried now for a few days and it's still working and doesn't get to hot.

Bought this as a secondary power supply for my HP Z-book Studio G5. Works well so far, but as others have noted its a bit bigger and heavier than the original, so that's the one I'll be taking with me when I travel.

The EliteBooks use the 7.4x5.0 mm connector (both 90 Watts) and the Pavilion Gaming Laptop uses the 4.5x3.0 mm connector. Both work well. The power supply is two-wire only; the secret is the 1-wire chip embedded in the tips. These chips tell the laptop the charger is "approved" and is of sufficient wattage.I had a 150 Watt Dell power supply with the 7.4x5.0 mm tip and got a converter, but the laptop wasn't happy. The tips with this power supply provide the correct data to the laptop to allow charging. I have several genuine 90 Watt power supplies and over time the little wire in the cord appears to break and won't "authorize" the power supply on the 8470p, which made them unusable.I have purchased a second one for the kitchen so I don't have to drag the one out of my laptop. The flexibility of the two connectors works great for me. I highly recommend this power supply!

El equipo prende pero no llega a cargar hasta el 100%, llego demaciado rápido aunque todo aplastado.
