I was given this item a couple months ago and it is absolutely great! It's a tad bit pricey, in my opinion, but it 100% works. In fact, it's the only dice tower in this price range I've tried (out of maybe six or seven) that works like a charm. It's super easy to put together. The bottom is constructed well enough that the dice rarely tumble outside the enclosed area. The tower is tall enough to be satisfying, offering enough visual entertainment of the fall of the dice. But it's also not so tall or complicated that it impedes flow of a "roll" at the table. It is not painted, and instead comes in what I'd call a "boring" gray, lol. However, it's not quite a boring enough color to be off-putting should you not paint it. (Mine is not painted and I'm happy with it). In fact, I consider it a strength that it's not painted. The tower is not super detailed or anything, but I've seen enough pictures from fellow reviewers on here who chose to paint their's and always looks great! So if you like to paint, go wild!Fun fact: It's extremely entertaining even for kids. I took mine to a book fair so that kids could have something extra to do and it was a massive hit.Ironically enough, I purchased this as a gift for a budding gamemaster's birthday, but she had already gone out and purchased her own based on how well she liked the one we used at my game table. All in all, this is a 5/5 star item for me. I consider myself a pretty tough grader, and I reserve 5 stars for items that do what they say on the tin, have zero issues while doing so, are fairly priced, and can go above and beyond in other areas. I was considering taking a star off because it's just a tad overpriced (at its current $25 tag). However, the fact it entertained a group of 70+ kids for three hours combined with the fact it can be painted (but looks fine unpainted) more than makes up that extra cost in my opinion.Disclaimer: I use standard size dice, including from Chessex, HD Dice, Kraken, and other companies. All of those will fit in the hole, some with more space to spare than others. (Chessex tends to be a tad smaller than Kraken Dice, for example). I've seen a reviewer or two mention they had to sand the hole to make it fit their dice. Fair enough. And that's something to keep in mind if you tend to use larger dice at your table.

Best dice tower I've purchased! It's kind of mesmerizing watching it go down the tower that I actually filmed a slow-mo video of the dice going down and it looked pretty neat!I really like how the dice actually tumbles quite a bit as it goes down compared to other dice towers I've tried. While I give it 5 stars for being my favorite dice tower, there are a couple improvements I would like to see.1. Add a heavy base to it so it's a bit more stable when on the table--it would also give it a more premium feel.2. Not sure if this would make it better or worse but make the top hole slightly larger. My Dice Throne dice does tend to get jammed up top more than other dice I own but honestly, this isn't too big a deal, to me.
