Just recently have been dealing with out first ever flea infestation. EVER!What a joke 🙄I must say these helped me relieve our dogs/cats the last little few they had remaining.These are a must have and I couldn't believe the $9 price tag!

My pup went through back surgery and his back legs are currently very weak so we have to do a lot of extra care and help with cleaning him up because he can’t do it himself at the moment. These combs worked so well and made me feel so much better about keeping him clean and not having stuff get stuck in his coat. He’s a short hair breed. Schnauzer mix.

My cat Princess is 18, and hasn't been grooming well for over a year now. I've tried many things to manage her dandruff and flaky skin. She won't clean her back end above her tail, and it gets bad there. I try not to bathe her often, because she gets cold very easily and it stresses her out.I imagine that having your skin being dirty and flaky like that would be extremely uncomfortable and itchy. I felt bad that she lived with this but wasn't sure what to do. I brush her multiple times a day and it didn't help.Finally I realized thar a lice/flea comb might be able to get all the small flakes of dandruff out of her fine fur. I grabbed this and it works great! She loves the solid plastic comb the most. I think it's gentle in her irritated skin. She purrs the entire time I use it.My only complaint is that the teeth are so close together that it's very hard to clean. I have to use a bottle brush, and even then it's not coming out completely clean. I understand that they cant make the teeth further apart for easy cleaning. That would defeat the purpose of the combs. But do I wish this pack came with a brush cleaner.

After a bad flea season... I seriously debated unfriending a friend whose dogs shared his fleas with my 3 dogs... I found that along with flea treatments, these combs work wonders. Sometimes flea meds just don't get everything, and though gross it helps to comb out as many as you can. The long handle comb was comfortable to hold and gentle enough on my dogs that now when my youngest dog (a year and a half) sees it, he comes running and won't let the other dogs have a turn because he loves the feel of being combed by it. Now that the fleas are gone I still spot check with the comb every couple of days and the teeth are fine enough to pick up the tiniest ones but not so close that it pulls the fur making the dogs hate the experience.
