My cats still like it, but the suction cup does not stick, it's weak. My girl cat will bring the fish to us when she wants us to play with her and she drags the wand behind her.

I love this toy for my kitten and she loves it too.I had another older version of it already from when my old cat had been younger, but didn't want to be bringing it back and forth to my trailer so went hunting for another. I was so happy when I found this. The only difference is the type of fish at the end; my original is a gold fish. She can play with this for a very long time and not get bored. The bell attached did finally break off after a couple of months of hard play, but I can always fix that.My only complaint is that the suction cup doesn't hold very well to glass surfaces. It needs to be stronger to hold up to cats pulling on it, but other than that it is fun watching my little girl attack it. I just hold onto it instead; which is better anyway as I can move it all over the house and she loves it when I plop it in the holes of her Hartz Peek & Play. She jumps in and attacks it!

tl;dr: Suction cups are useless (this is realistically a hand toy with a useless suction cup added on for apperances) and the fish gets torn off of the line+rod easily, but for how cheap these are, they're a great value, and my cats both love them. The Bad:Firstly, the suction cup is absolutely useless. I've had three of these (none returns; I'll get to durability in a minute) and not a single one has ever had a useful suction cup. They're blatantly cheaply made and I honestly don't know why they're even on there; they're so useless. Expect this to be a handheld toy, and abandon any notion of sticking it to a wall or anything like that. (I've tried multiple surfaces, nothing has been stuck to by this cheap suction cup.)I mentioned having three of these -- yeah, they're not durable. Two of them have had the little fish come off of the string (but both times by my more energetic boy who tends to be harder on his toys), while the third and newest is still technically surviving. The Good:Fortunately, even after being separated from the fishing rod, the fish still prove excellent toys on their own. My cats both ADORE the little fish, and while the bell seems to have no effect whatsoever, the catnip they use in these is very effective, and whatever material that the fins are made of is crinkly and one of my two cats absolutely goes nuts over it (the other is more ambivalent, but still enjoys the fish without paying particular attention to the crinkly material). Also, generally, given that I got both for The Aside:One very minor complaint I have is that despite having ordered three of these, I've gotten the same variant every time. I was really hoping ONE of them would be the cute white-and-red koi, but every single time it's been the orange one with the blue fishing rod. Not the end of the world, but I wish there was a *little* more variety, or that you could select which one you wanted.

My cat loves this toy but only the orange and blue koi fish. Unfortunately, I got the red and white, so had to return it. Still if your cat's not picky about the colour, it's a must buy toy.
