Ich bin noch nicht fertig mit dem Sortieren aber der Sticktwist ist wirklich schön. Leicht seidig glänzend, greift sich sehr gut an, Farben sind wunderschön und in einer Vielzahl an Farbschattierungen. Für mich ein toller Kauf 😁

I just got back into embroidery after not having done much hand stitching for many years, so I needed floss and I wanted a lot of colors and the price of the brand I used to buy made even the thought of that out of reach for me. I saw this floss, I thought why not take a chance? If it's not great I can give it to my niece for bracelets. So far so good though! It separates nicely, doesn't snag up and I have a decent amount of colors to choose from and the numbers match that big brand. I think I got a deal.

Arrived on time. Only 291 skeins, not the 300 as advertised so a little disheartened that the full product wasn't received.After organising and sorting all colours, only 100 are different and the remainder are duplicates. Honestly wishing I had read other reviews before purchasing. It'll serve a short purpose however will likely look around elswhere for floss in the future

I've only had a chance to open up the box and look at the floss. The floss comes in two plastic bags with 150 skeins in each. I sorted through one bag completely and discovered there are 150 different colors if you look at the tag's number. When looking at the skeins, so many of the colors are very close that they almost look like dye lot variations. Once these skeins are wound onto bobbins, you will need to write the color number on the bobbin and be very careful matching if you need to get additional from the bobbin for an ongoing project. I opened up the second bag and randomly pulled a dozen skeins to check if these were duplicate colors from the first bag. All 12 skeins were colors in the first bag so I believe you get 2 skeins of 150 different colors.

NOT 300 DIFFERENT COLORSWhen I got this product, it came in three different zip plastic bags. Before using them, I had to rearrange them in their respective colors so I am not digging around for the right colors when I start to use them. YES, I arranged all 300 colors of embroidery floss. What I find most disappointing is that it is NOT 300 DIFFERENT COLORS, but just the quantity of 300. There were quite a few of the same colors with quantities of 3 (very few colors are 4s). At best, I would have to estimate around 150-200 colors. You can tell some colors are so close to others but they are slightly a shade off in white light. Despite this, I'm not entirely disappointed because I am working on a large embroidery project and I love all of the extra colors I can get.MISLABELED COLORSFor some reason, some of the colors are mislabeled. From my experience at buying DMC at Hobby Lobby, Michael's, and Walmart, these colors never usually keep the same label since there are too many different colors to track. I suspect this may be the same reason for the mislabeled colors for Caydo as well. Also, when I first received them, their labeling is very similar to DMC's black/yellow labeling, which led me to believe the quality may be as crappy as their's as well but don't let this fool you.GOOD STURDY QUALITYCompared to DMC's soft Egyptian Cotton floss, I much prefer this 100% polyester Caydo Floss. It is a lot sturdier and has about the same sheen as DMC. I cut my floss to about 40-inch long since it is much easier to handle (for both brands); DMC threads tend to become very fuzzy and drastically fall apart while Caydo's thread only becomes fuzzier about 3/4 of the way through with their floss. Caydo's thread does not fall apart at the 40-inch mark but I can't guarantee that it will hold beyond that.OVERALL:Caydo is definitely very good for replenishing your floss stash for very common colors with a sturdier value but I would still go to DMC for their uniques colors such as the metallics, satin/pearl colors and bright neon colors. Overall, generally a good experience. I wish that they would specify the amount of colors instead so that I didn't have to painstakingly sort through every single skein of floss and write in the comments that it is NOT 300 different colors.
