I installed these on my trailer in less than one hour. These were great too put on and will really help too see my trailer when backing up.

This is exactly what I was looking for (even matches my black trailer). The PVC poles were both scratched a little, but there was nothing that would affect the structural integrity. Very easy, intuitive install.

ok Quality product, arrived undamaged in a pristine factory box. I took the arms and dry fit in several locations before deciding on the rear most spot on the trailer frame. If you have steps, you are just going to have to drill holes through them. No way around it. Once I decided on this, I pre-painted the uprights, brackets and u-bolts with Rustolium rubberized undercoating paint,to match the finish on my trailer.Use the bracelet to mark your step for drilling. Center punch a dimple and drill a small starter hole. Then use 1/4 bit to open the hole, then use a step drill bit until you get your desired diameter. It was easy with a 3/8 inch rechargeable drill. Did take time, my steps were thick! Mount the bracket loose, slide in the upright support and set desired off set and crank it down! You may need to manhandle the brackets and u-bolts a little to get everything to fit. I actually deformed the bracket a little on purpose while tightening the nuts. I then touched up all the bare hardware with the undercoating paint. Very happy. Looks factory, feels very strong, will help the wife line up on the trailer when loading.Boat is a 18.5 foot Tahoe fish and ski style runabout for reference. River/lake use only.

Work well, easy to install but you’ll need to tape the caps on; they pop off as the trailer enters the water.

I gave this product a 4.The Good:First of all, the height for those that don't know is from the bottom of the bracket to the top of the pvc tube. So my suggestion is to go long. The metal brackets are definitely strong so you don't have to worry about getting flimsy metal material that will bend if you bump your boat up against it. Easy to install and the 90 degree angle was what i was looking for (i own a continental trailer with a j16 carolina skiff)The bad:The box arrived in horrible condition. A washer fell out when the delivery driver dropped it off at my doorstep. Luckily all the nuts and U-bolts were there...so wasn't missing any parts. The black PVC poles were fairly well scuffed up. I like my stuff to look nice and polished. The improper packaging was to blame. Looks like this box and contents were not properly packaged and roughed up.Would have gotten a 5 star but the packaging and care dropped it down to a 4
