Generally a capo for guitar is ok for a guitar but is big for a ukulele. The size is perfect for ukulele.

I like it! The capo stays in place and does its job. It feels very well made and like it’ll last a while. I use this on a soprano ukulele and it JUST fits— so be careful if you have a bigger uke / are getting this for a guitar. But I definitely recommend this. It comes with three plastic picks too! They’re really hard on my strings so I don’t think I’ll be using them, but they’re a great add-in!It took about 5 days to ship, but was here a day earlier than it was scheduled to be after shipping (STANDARD.) So there’s not a super long wait either. I have the gold model! (Photos included)

Recently, I became interested in using partial capos to simulate alternate guitar tunings, and I wanted a 4-string capo, but I couldn't find any guitar capos that only capoed four strings. I figured something like this may work well for my purposes, and I am pleased to say that it does work. For example, I have a song that I had played with the E and the A strings tuned down a whole step from standard tuning with a 6-string capo on the second fret, and with this, no alternate tuning is required. I simply play with the four higher strings capoed on the second fret and some minor changes to the fingerings that are very doable. I will say that the capo is just slightly long for this purpose, so it can be a little tricky to get into place without muting the A string, but it's doable with some practice. It works very well as a 5-string capo for simulating drop-D style tunings, as well, so definitely a good value even if it is not marketed towards guitar players as it saves you from buying a separate drop-D" capo. I've also experimented with using the capo on the lower four or five strings, and this could create some unusual tunings as well. If you use it in combo with a 6 string capo you can use it to get all sorts of combinations of drop and standard tuning. I do not currently own an ukulele, so I have no comments on its intended use, but I can't see how there would be any issues. Very useful product!
