Share your greatest discoveries with friends and family by pairing the LandScout spotting scope with the included smartphone adapter. This accessory connects any smartphone to the LandScout eyepiece (or any other eyepiece with an outside diameter of 45mm or smaller, such as a binocular or telescope eyepiece).
The eyepiece’s magnification bumps up the image scale, so you can capture stunning images of wildlife, distant objects, and even the Moon at night! This light, rigid smartphone adapter installs in seconds by clamping over the top of the eyepiece. Tightening knobs securely lock your phone in place. Note that some large and/or excessively bulky phone cases (including folio style cases) may need to be removed for the phone to fit in the adapter.

I didn’t open it for a while after buying but should have. I opened the package and found the inner package was open and the scope was bent and broken

This product is quite good, however when it rained at my archery tournament, the scope now has moisture on the inside, The seals are not all that good

El telescopio es de buena calidad y para ser el primero creo que fue una buena inversión.Cambiamos el tripié ya que el que trae es pequeño (de mesa) y necesitábamos uno con mayor tamaño.El telescopio es terrestre pero se aprecia la luna de manera espectacular.

Not to brag, but we buy these to whale watch from our lanai in Hawaii and to watch other ocean activities. We had a 60mm objective lens and it worked well, but in lower light levels (sunset or dawn) it did not gather enough light. Doing the math, an 80mm has roughly twice the light gathering area than the 60mm. That sure shows up in the view. The optics are clean and the adjustments and focus work well. There are two features we really like. The first is it comes with a cell phone mounting device so you can take photos and video if you wish. The second is the ability to rotate the tube. Our other lacked this and when both my wife and I were watching we had to choose between me stooping over or her standing on her tip toes. This one allows us to rotate the tube and stay on the object being watched.

Provides greatly magnified views with stability on the tripod. Easy to set up and use. The phone adapter is not that user-friendly, but I am sure I will still sort it out. The tripod itself makes it worth the purchase. Been using it to watch for game from the veranda, and works very well.
