My daughter really loves Harry Potter and also really loves this wand. She can now go around practicing spells and the light really helps set the effect. It looks very nice and is pretty bright for what it is.

We got this wand because it has definite Harry Potter vibes, and my daughter has been reading the books and watching the movies for the first time recently and is enjoying them. It's really exactly what we'd want it to be, and she absolutely loves the wand!

Beehive model (Elder wand): Elderwood, fourteen and a third inches, thestral hair core, unknown flexibility. Arguably the most powerful wand in existence, this wand is loyal only to strength, typically a quality of the owner, of which there have been many since it's creation by Death, at the request of Antioch Peverell. This wand must be won in order to change ownership (not always by nefarious deeds, thankfully) and unlike other wands, doesn't hold any allegiance to it's owner. Capable of incredible destruction, this wand should only be wielded by the most responsible of wizards or witches.In truth, this is a great product. Arguably superior to other branded versions that we own, it is sturdy, and performs "lumos" and "nox" with the ease of pushing a button. The storage box is very high quality with a black velveteen pillow insert for the wand to store snuggly on. It also includes a handy pocket-size reference spell book (note: unforgivable curses as well). It comes with a micro USB cable for easy charging (no charger base though for wall outlets). Over all loads of fun. Great for cosplay, collecting, or general spell casting.I highly recommend this product!

Our son was extremely excited to receive this wand! It's very basic in operation and easy to work, but the details and even the packaging is just amazing. It comes with a spell book, so we were having fun and teaching him some of them, he's too young to read it currently. One thing that happened and made it even more impressive is he started to use it to adventure into the dark. So he would go to places he previously would have wanted the lights on or a parent present. It was exciting to see him with new courage brought on by his little wand. It's actually not that little, it's very realistic in design and large sized. I could see people using it for cosplay. The price is definitely good, it's very high quality and rechargeable. It comes with the cable to recharge it.One other notable thing, the light is very bright going directly out from the wand, but less bright as you look at it from behind. So it works like a flashlight in a sense, without binding you if you look at the tip from behind. It's well designed! If you wanted a wand, this one won't disappoint.
