neckline is closed by velcro - you could fix this by hot gluing another piece of velcro to the size you want.I could not figure out how to wear this thing so it looks like the photos, the beads did not hang on my shoulders right and whenever I'd move they'd all fall off forward or backwards. Maybe my shoulder span is too short or too long and that's why they didn't hang right. If you can make It work like that other girl did then great because the piece is super cool
