They are in fact very useful. However when you’re use to using this thing every day, & forget it in your pocket & the TSA guy has never seen or heard of a metal pointy toothpick. Let’s just say, thank god other passengers knew what it was.

I never used mine, and now I don’t need to floss my teeth haha but they are good little picks

As curved picks are easier to use, these straight picks can take some practice to use, without poking your gums; toward the back teeth. Over the years, I'm already better at it.Keep in mind, each pick is three pieces. You may want to glue the bottom of the pick into the tiny colored base, as it can unsrew easily. I'm keeping an eye on the pick base uncrewing from the cover (that's how I'd lost my previous pick, from a different merchant) which -securely- attaches to a key ring. I'd ordered these, because my previous set only came with two. I'm glad this set has five.My only issue was, my first order only had two tiny key rings in it; no picks nor covers at all, and there were no holes in any of the packaging. My free replacement set did not arrive. The status said it was returned to Amazon. Upon speaking with Amazon customer service, "someone (name unknown to me) at work had signed for it". Anyone signing for it knows who I am. We're reception; the first to receive mail and smaller deliveries. I'd decided to accept that loss, and try ordering a third time. I'm glad I did. So far, I really enjoy this purchase, and -definitely- recommend it; for responsible and sane adults.*It's not a good idea to carry these anywhere visible; where children, psych patients (or anyone, really) can encounter them, if lost or snatched.

Very inexpensive for a pack. Smaller than I thought they would be. The pick part is the actual size of a tooth pick and the handle is just a bit bigger. You gotta be brave to actually use it to pick your teeth. But absolutely invaluable to pick fuzz and threads out of your phone charging port. Also would work well for arts and crafts for a lot of purposes. Sharp tip.
