One of my favorite features is the consistent cooling performance. It gets the water to the perfect cold temperature quickly and maintains it throughout the bath. The chiller runs quietly, and it’s designed to be energy-efficient, which is a bonus for long-term use. Some expect it to get to freezing temps automatically, but this, like all, takes a bit go raise from room temperature, but it's faster than most I have tried by a few degrees per 1/2hr, and easily keeps it at set temp as long as needed, even in a larger chill-tank!

Connections on top of chiller are all cheap plastic, they give you a o ring to seal the connection but it still has a minor leak, you can only tighten so much before you risk cracking the cheap plastic. Had to use silicon to seal around and stop the leak. They give you brass connections to screw into the ice bath, u'd assume they would of made connections on the chiller brass as well. Maybe choose one with better connections.

Stoked on this setup. Bought it for a 128 gallon inflatable tub and it holds my preferred 42 degree temperature in direct western sun, so far up to 75 degree days (that's the hottest it's been since I bought it). I was nervous about it being powerful enough over the hot summer months but it seems like it will be. You can barely hear it running, no issues noisewise. Also, having all the accessories (pump, filter, tubes, connectors, is a huge perk. Took maybe 20 minutes to figure out the setup. Very happy.

Not certifications like UL/ETL/MET or TuV that are valid based on the Canadian Electrical Code.The 2/3 HP model is quite different from the other models. The electronic control is on the top, and works differently, and the water connections are on the right side.The noise level is quite reasonable, more than a fridge, but nowhere near a portable air conditioner.The construction is good, but although it is indicated as good for outside, it is not to be left unprotected. The pump power supply is rated for indoor use only. The switch on the back has no weather protection, water can get inside the switch. I would not leave it in the rain. But my plan is to use it for cooling my CNC spindle; thus it will stay inside. 2/3 HP is 500W, and the typical efficiency is around 4; thus it should be OK to cool down my 2.2kW spindle, which never runs continuously at 100% anyway.Installation is easy, the pump and filter are already connected, you just need to connect this to your tub. The pump has no self priming; thus it must be slightly below the reservoir to ensure that water gets in by itself.The cooling is efficient, as all compressors there is a protection to ensure the pressure has time to lower down, is this case, there is a built-in 3 minutes startup delay. This may be different for the other models which uses a different controller; thus the delay may be external.

Product arrived with packaging in acceptable condition but when installed failed to cool the water. The fan and pump ran but the machine didn't work. Huge hassle to ship back as the machine is relatively heavy and cumbersome.
