I purchased this dress a few days ago and it came today. At first, I thought I would be a little thrown off by the beige color but being an older woman of 65, white wasn't going to work for me and I already have a wine-colored summer dress, so I got the beige. Well, let me tell you something, when the dress came, I was like a kid on Christmas morning trying to open that bag and when I did, inside was this beautifully embroidered cotton dress and I couldn't wait to try it on. Once I did try it on, the fabric felt so soft and smooth against my skin, and I knew when summer came it would feel light and breezy. This fabric will breathe and prevent you from sweating and looking like a hot mess! I'm so in love with this dress that I'm going back for the wine colored one too. It's stylish and doesn't make you feel like a grandma in it (yes even though I'm a grandmom, I don't want to look like one if you know what I mean), it's a dress that you could wear at any age and look good in it. You can dress it up with the right jewelry and accessories or just wear it out as is for a day at the beach. This dress is what I call "PERFECTION". On me it reaches down to about my ankles (but I'm only 5'4) and on the model it's at her knees. I'm fine with the length though because I prefer midi dresses.This will look perfect with a pair of flats or a 3/4 heel pair of sandals. I would definitely recommend this dress to anyone that wants to look good in the heat of summer!

The ruffle line hit right above my backside making me look larger than I am. It was more full than I thought. Hoping for a more fitted aline.

This dress is cotton and long enough and has a liner. I washed it and the only problem was the tassle came unraveled at the top. So I had to repair it. But all in all an ok dress.
