This is a nice little 1:72 scale tank. It's a bit fast for a tank, and the turret rotation is very fast. You can't expect total realism is a kid's toy though, and it's fun to play with. The big hit for me is that the tank recharges from the remote, which drains the batteries you have to put in the remote. Why in this day and age the remote and tank didn't just have usb-c chargers is beyond me. The choice to charge the rechargable tank off the non-rechargable remote batteries baffles me completely. The tank at least should just be usb-c even if the remote was still battery operated.

This remote control tank is great! It works just as well as any other remote control vehicle but has added advantages of a rotating current sound effects and can tackle almost any obstacle. It’s definitely a good way to teach your kids why armor is considered the king of the battlefield!

Arrives in an amazing plastic storage case, the tank is in the clear front half, with the remote tucked up in the back half retained by a snap in cover. I was impressed with the details.. The charger is about the size of the tank and easy to hold and manipulate. To charge the tank, flip down the clear cover on the left side of the remote, pull out the cable and plug it into the bottom of the tank near the on/off slide switch.. Operation is basic, with arrows showing direction on the left and turning on the right side. The left button set also has the buttons for "firing" which makes the tank kick back about an inch.. and opposite the fire button is the turret rotate. The downer is that the turret can not be turned right or left on demand; each button press changes the direction of the turret... The turret does rotate fast, that could be problematic when your facing down an army of beige plastic soldier goons. the Tank does only have one speed.. It gets along pretty quick, but for a tracked toy. it's not too bad. The 4 star is just because the turret direction can not be chosen..It is a solid feeling little model with lots of play value!

To make the ferocious Tiger tank cute, just shrink it to 1/72 scale. This scale is the same as many model aircraft. This mini-RC tank works as described. It's nicely detailed; weathering and adding the tank commander some color would add to its realism. If used as just a toy, insert batteries in the controller, charge up the tank from the controller, flip the switch under the tank, and you're off. Everything on the controller works fine, though I haven't been able to get it to move slowly. For fun, I tested its scaled top speed. I came up with about 50 mph, about twice as fast of the real thing. For younger people, I suspect they'll tire of this toy unless there's an "enemy." The enemy might be a friend with a similar tank, toy soldiers, fortifications, etc. Back in the 1950s, such games brought my much younger brother and me closer, even though we didn't have RC tanks.

Note: Remote takes 4AA batteries (not included). Tank charges up from the controller. The 1:72 Mini RC Tank offers a fun and engaging experience for enthusiasts of all ages. With its 2.4GHz remote control, the tank can be operated from a considerable distance, and its 360-degree rotating turret, realistic sound effects, and recoil mechanism provide an immersive and gaming experience. The durable construction and tough tracks ensure long-lasting enjoyment, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor tank battles. While a USB-C charging port would have been a convenient addition to both the tank and controller, the rechargeable battery and included hard case make this mini RC tank a valuable and entertaining toy for collectors and casual users alike. Keep in mind that the turret movement is fast and not realistic, but the tank is fun none the less.
