I applied these tread grips to 10 stairs and a landing in our 1960's home. The stairs are somewhat steep and these tread grips really add a level of security walking down them especially for older legs. The peel off backing was a little tough to start but came right off once started. The grip material is a sheet similar to very a thin roofing shingle, very flexible. We found that we had to be very careful when applying the strips to get the correct location, the adhesive is very strong and does not easily come off once appliedif you make a mistake. Of course, the strong adhesive is a plus once installed.These are a great price and I would purchase them again.

Got these to make it easier for an old dog to walk up concrete steps. They are not too rough and provide good traction. Easy to put down and stick well.

Was apprehensive as to how well these would work and was very surprised at how well they look and how easy they were to lay. Product worked really well on my outdoor steps (approx 10 steps). My senior dog is handling the steps much better. Would definitely recommend.

First, clean steps and let dry. Peel and place. Provides sure footing for about 12-18 months. They start to shrink and crinkle in the summer heat (I guess the glue breaks down a bit in the heat). Still, since I only have 3 steps, probably cheap enough to replace each year.
