I got this belt for a backup weighted bar dip belt. It fits good around the waist and the materials used are of average. The belt should fit waist sizes 28-about 36. Any larger, then it may feel awkward. The straps will and do hold weight. Having said that, I removed 1 star due to the straps to hold the weights are adequate, but I feel my other belt which uses metal chains, just feels superior to this one. That one can easily hold 3 45# plates, I am not sure if I can say the same with this belt, and I rather not try it.

I like this belt and have used my fair share of them.I prefer this style of design compared to leather belts. I feel the velcro provides a more snug “seal” compared to the pin buckle that many leather belts use. Having a slightly more malleable material like this, compared to leather, is much more comfortable while still providing something to press into while lifting. This belt uses a dual velcro clasp, and I very much like that. It provides a very sturdy feeling seal which one can confidently press into. The comfort while wearing is adequate; I don’t think any belt would be described as “comfortable” due to the nature of the thing. However, this one doesn’t stand out as being uncomfortable. The dual functionality of this belt is executed well. Having the straps on the front to attach weight to is something I’ve never seen before, but this belt did it great. The orange loops are very sturdy. I’ve attached 45 lbs and had it dangle on there, jumped up and down, did pull-ups, and they didn’t snap off. That was a worry I had prior to using the belt—that the weight loops under high load would snap off. They have yet to fail me, and I have confidence in them.As mentioned above, “I have used my fair share” of belts. I have broken two before and tried many. I have just begun using this belt, and I’m impressed with what I see so far. The clasp tends to give out first, but I don’t foresee that problem happening with this belt due to its design. I’m confident in the orange weight loops, but time will tell. I’ll update this review if anything falls apart unexpectedly. If you are unsure whether or not you should be wearing a belt, do some research prior to buying. If you just started lifting, they are often not needed. A resource I like is a YouTube channel called Renaissance Periodization; they have a video on when to use a belt and when not to.Regarding the seller page, I very much appreciate having real pictures of the product. Often, products will have poorly photoshopped pictures, which doesn’t instill confidence in the product for me. If the seller can’t put in the effort to get a picture of what they are selling, I doubt the product. Coincidentally, this belt has real pictures on its product page, and the product is fantastic. Great work, seller. If you decide a belt is right for you, this is a great choice! Good price, multi-functionality with the weight loops, and sturdy design.

This belt is good for my needs. I like the Velcro; it allows you to adjust it just the way you want. I was initially worried about the loops that hold the weight, but they should be strong enough to hold any weight that I would be capable of holding.

I've been wanting to get a belt like this for a while to hold extra weight while I do pull-ups or dips. I can squeeze a dumbbell between my knees, but it is awkward and not very secure. A belt like this puts the weight in a good place and is a safer, more standard system. My hesitation in the past has been that most of these have a chain that hangs down and loops through the center hole of a barbell plate, but I don't have barbell plates, I just have a bunch of dumbbells. When I saw this belt with a strap instead of a chain, I jumped on it figuring that I could work out a way to tie a dumbbell to it. Turns out I don't need to do anything that complicated--I can just hang a dumbbell from it and it actually holds pretty securely (see the pictures). What makes it work is the way the dumbbell will naturally hang when the strap loops around it--it hangs in the direction that prevents it from slipping off (again, see the picture). I wouldn't want to do anything too acrobatic with this arrangement, but it stays on and feels pretty secure for its intended purpose: dips and pull-ups. It is also super easy to take the weight on or off, much easier than a typical chain system with a plate. The belt itself is quite stiff and rugged feeling with a heavy-duty hook-and-loop fastener. You wrap the fastener on one side, then the other side attaches on top of it (so there are three layers of strapping altogether) so the arrangement is really secure.I'm delighted with this arrangement and highly recommend it.

I was excited when I opened these and was looking forward to trying them on. I soon found that my fat butt did not fit in this. Looking back at the description, I found one mention of the small size. I don't know how much weight the cloth loops can handle, but it would handle whatever I can lift.If you're a tiny person, 100% recommend.
