This tool belt is the most comfortable I have ever used, lightweight and with a wide back makes it easy to carry for hours with all the hand tools I may need as a framing journeyman, also well constructed I expect many years of service from them.

This is the second pair I have owned. I build form systems for commercial buildings. Also we do the majority of rebar in house. First set lasted almost 5 years. 5 years of pouring concrete, tying rebar, building and setting forms. Nothing lasts long in that environment. After the first set I tried a different type of clc bags that were cheap and now they live on a box somewhere. Love the compartments on the right side. I'm left handed and this system works for me. My load out is heavy tools and some fasteners these days, used to be other way and both load outs work well. Clc could improve with better suspender accommodations. For the price compared to occidental or other bags running around 300.This is in my opinion the best set in its price range by far.

I've only had the tool belt for 5 months and I'm loving it! I generally work in the formwork aspect of carpentry and there in only minor wear and tear. The material is very durable compared to the kunky tool belts (they're the only ones I've owned, so I cant speak for dewalt or other brands) I love the amounts of pockets this belt has, including the slot for a speed square (that's a big plus, since it's not in a random pocket and you dont have to worry about it falling out when grabbing a nail or a screw.) Prior to buying this, I did my research on a number of brands since I was spending this kind of money and didn't want it to go to waste. And am I glad I did.The only downside I can see is that with the amount of pouches there are, the more gear you may end up carrying. I would strongly reccomend spending the extra money and getting a set of the Occidental suspenders and loop attachments, as they are more comfortable than the task suspenders (See my review on task suspenders T77580).

I do general construction off and on throughout the year and I finally decided to upgrade my 10 year old 4-pocket run-of-the-mill craftsman tool belt to something a bit more substantial. I needed something with larger stiffer pockets to hold my tools and still have enough room for nails/screws/other misc fasteners, but I didn't want to pay the crazy $$$ for the Occidental Leather belts.THE PROS:This belt was less than 1/2 the price of a similar styled OL belt and is incredibly rugged! The pockets (of which there are PLENTY) are deep enough to hold larger tools, wide enough to reach into them while wearing gloves, and stiff enough that they don't spill everything out when you bend over. The subdivisions of the larger pocket are great for keeping your tools in place while still allowing you to use the rest of the pocket. The metal clip on the front of the left-side pocket works great for hanging an impact or drill. The padded belt (which can be removed) is comfortable. Both main pockets and hammer loop are removable which is great if you want to customize or remove/add gear as needed.THE CONS:This was my first time having the hammer in the back vs on the side. While it is nice not to have the hammer bang on your leg, it is a bit awkward to reach, and for whatever reason the hammer loop has a huge leather pad that hangs below it (I guess to keep the hammer from hitting you?) and the hammer is constantly getting hung up on it. I will definitely be replacing this with a simpler hammer loop. The metal clip on the front of the left pocket, while great for hanging larger power tools, was not very easy to use for a tape measure...but this may have more to do with the placement vs the clip. If you like to wear your belt tight, the leather loops that attach the main pockets to the belt are very stiff and can dig into your side. Hopefully, they'll flex as they get used. Lastly, I'm a pretty small guy (5'5", 30" waist) so I have to really crank down on the belt to keep it from falling off. This means I have to fold the padding all the way back and fumble with the buckle as you try to hold on to everything all at once which takes a few minutes every time I want to put it on/take it off.Overall, I think this is a great belt for the price that, with care, will last for the rest of my life. It looks great and is well balanced. Keep in mind, it's a large belt so it is heavy. If you have back/hip issues consider getting suspenders. Main gripe is the cumbersome hammer loop, but that can be replaced or just use the one on the back of the right-side pocket (I'm a lefty, so that's no go for me).
