This thing is fantastic, it elevates the laptop and increases airflow below helping it to keep cool. The removable adapter works great for any of your needs! I definitely recommend purchasing this, it's a great solution to getting rid of a docking station.

I have MSI 16 inch laptop and while it fits on it, it's a little tipsy if you would disturb it. This frame base is a little small so if someone would try tilt the compuater if it will flip over, the laptop does lift easily at the front, although it stops from flip over totally so still ok. It just doesn't sit firmly on it like it would one full surface. I will keep it, being small does make it easy to carry and it does the job. But it will be ideal for a smaller laptop or maybe lighter latop. My MSI is heavy weight gaming laptop.

This travel laptop docking station is a game changer for laptops using USB-C power adapters!This docking station not only eliminated the annoying "ring around the chair" like-ritual of having to remove & attach connectors to use my mouse & other devices connected devices, but it replaced my bulky & heavy cooling stand (that stopped working within a couple of months.) I am thoroughly impressed with this product.Disclaimer & Note: I had to restart my laptop after I connected it to the docking station in order for my laptop to recognize the USB-A ports & the card slots.Pros:- it is extremely slim & lightweight- it only takes a couple of seconds to set up or collapse.- the docking station is powered by your laptop power adapter using a USB-C port.- A dual end USB-C connector cable (to connect the docking station to the laptop) is included.- the hub is detachable and can be detached within seconds. It can be done one-hand but it is easier using both hands.- In addition to the 2 USB-C ports for the connector cable & the laptop power adapter, it includes an HDMI port, both SD & microSD card slots, & (2) 3.0 USB-A ports.- the docking station can be used flat or adjusted to elevate the laptop at an angle (up to 3.25") for easier typing.Cons:- My laptop started charging immediately after I connected it to the docking station & plugged the laptop power adapter into the docking station (just be sure to use the designated ports - they are NOT interchangeable). However, none of the USB ports or card slots worked UNTIL I restarted my computer.

I have a pretty powerful laptop that could easily do double-duty as a desktop with the right hub.I was happy to discover this hub to be a very versatile and thoughtful design that is ideal for both desktop and travel use. It's also broadly compatible with Windows, macOS, and Android, ensuring seamless integration with laptops, tablets, and even phones that support USB-C or Thunderbolt connections.One essential feature for me is the separation of the Thunderbolt host connection from the USB-C PD pass-through port, still allowing for a high-speed data connection while also providing up to 87 watts of power to another device now that the Thunderbolt port on my laptop is used up when connected to the hub.The hub's PD port can also be used for input power up to 100w to power peripherals connected to the hub and/or to charge the host device. An external power supply is not included, so you’ll need to provide one if you plan to power peripherals or charge your laptop through the hub.While the overall number of ports is low on the hub, they are sufficient for my needs, providing 2 x USB-A 3.0 ports, the USB-C PD port I mentioned above, a gigabit ethernet port, an HDMI port that supports up to 4k @ 30Hz, an SD slot and a MicroSD slot. It should be noted that only one SD slot can be used at a time.For some users, it may be advantageous to add another small pass-through hub between the laptop and the Clear Click hub. Some reasons you might wish to do this is if your device's port has limited wattage output or if you need more expansion capability. That doesn't make the Clear Click hub any less useful, however, as the portability features are really what make this shine.One of the standout features of this docking station is its dual functionality as a hub and laptop stand. The hub itself is magnetically connected to the stand, making it easy to detach and use independently.
