I have drawn with Clearprint 1000-H for perhaps 40 years. This is not Clearprint 1000-H. There is no watermark on the paper and it doesn’t seem to be100% rag content. Some of the old drawings that I have are like a very thin cloth. As far as this paper goes it is acceptable. It takes lead OK, erases acceptably. Suitably translucent. Easy to acquire. Then you have to cut a 2 x3 sheet from the role yourself. A bit of a hassle. Good luck...

This is the old standby for hand drafting with either pencil of technical pen, if you are old enough to remember and it's still good for that today. The 20 yard roll is the best value by far. NOT SUITABLE FOR WATERCOLOR. OK for colored pencil and alcohol flow marker. Very good tear resistance and can be used over underlayers to trace. Not quite translucent but not opaque as well.

Amazing quality. Great buy that saves you lots of money. Buying per sheet is way expensive, the role is way better. Highly recommend for larger projects (like 24x 36)

I’m old school, using this brand of vellum for years and require my students to do the same, perfect drawing surface, flawless, best with lead, good with ink, don’t recommend markers or felt tip, they bleed over time.

I had previously ordered and received 1000h-8 which means 1/8" grid; this order did not give me that option; so it was a disap-pointment to not get the 1/8" grid. I would appreciate the order form being more "user friendly" so that this mistake does notoccur again!
