Good to have so that hangers don't fall off the ends! Should come with the poles, but I guess it's easy to add to order for those who can spend the extra money.

Great end caps! Just what I needed to finish my closet project. I kept checking at my local Lowes but they were never in stock. They are a tight fit. I had to use the floor for support when pressing them into the rod. They would probably never come out.

I have a few closets in my house that do not run wall-to-wall. First, if you have the rod, it is almost a necessity to complete the closet. Even if I only had a shoe organizer on the rod, I would still add these end caps to finish the aesthetic appearance. However, we have baby clothes that would slide right to the floor without the caps. Second, I was able to insert them with no problem (a little muscle to snap them in), but they are secure and I do not worry about them popping out.I love having wire racks in all of my closets because they are so versatile because ClosetMaid makes so many handy accessories to easily organize our things. Sure, we’d love HGTV to come in with custom built shelves and racks, but until that happens, I’m sticking with ClosetMaid!

Impossibly hard for me to put in so got my adult son to do it. Once in, don't think they'll ever come out, but they work great and keep my hangers from falling off the rod. Wish I found these earlier!
