Un condensador de ventilador de techo es un componente eléctrico ubicado en la unidad de carcasa de tu ventilador de techo. Los condensadores CBB61 controlan los mecanismos de arranque y parada y las velocidades del ventilador en muchos tipos diferentes de motores de ventiladores de techo utilizando este tipo de condensadores.

Instrucciones
Se necesitarán algunos pelacables, tuercas de alambre, destornillador Phillips y una escalera al reemplazar el condensador.
Utilizando multímetro digital para comprobar el condensador en buenas condiciones antes de instalar.
Combina cuidadosamente los cables de color y el voltaje.
Antes de tirar tu ventilador de techo favorito, comprueba primero el condensador de ventilador de techo CBB61. Puede ser débil o quemado.

Was able to get my fan up and running again thanks to this is an amazing product, it comes color coordinated very easy to follow instructions on replacing the broken one

Guess I received a dud. Installed, matching wires. I could hear and feel buzzing and electricity is being received, but the fan still didn't move. Manually turned the fan a few times and it finally worked. Unfortunately, after turning off the fan overnight, it stopped working and it hasn't started working again. Truly disappointed 😞

This was my first foray into replacing a faulty capacitor. I learned a lot. Stripping wires is not my forte and splicing isn't either. Yet, this inexpensive part was precisely what was needed. Aside from my trying to make the switch more complicated than it was and my clumsy efforts to strip wires and splice them the capacitor has done the trick. One note. It took my fan a bit of encouragement to begin to work again. Turning the power on and off, pulling the power/speed chain several times and spinning the blades to encourage the fan to run again after the repair was finished yesterday. Being stubborn I tried again an hour ago by trying the remote one more time. Voila! The blades began to move on their own again!! It took a minute or so for them to get up to speed but they made it. I can't explain that however I am not looking a gift horse in the mouth!

Los colores de los cable en el capacitor recibido no coinciden con los colores en el capacitor que viene instalado en el anbanico, pero siguiendo los diagramas en los capacitores se puede hacer el match =coincidencia= sin problemas.

I was dreading having to get a new fan and then have to set up an install as not to mess with electrical wiring. The fan had been working on only one slow speed (one single direction) then finally not even that. Through an online search felt like my issue may be the capacitor and for the price, why not try?! Disassembly was easy and the wiring had a connector that unplugged from the unit - so was able to remove wiring with capacitor and metal cover from assembly altogether. Found the same capacitor available for prime and ordered it. I was so eager to install the day it arrived that I forgot to take a picture of the new capacitor until after fan was put together (wasn’t going to take apart unless it was needed). Fan works like new new/possibly better because I genuinely don’t remember it having the 3 speeds and off per direction when new. The fast speed makes it chilly for sure. Hope this works long term but if not I feel confident to do this again and we’ll worth the $16 spent.
