I received a flimsy soft mailer with only 4 Tent Pegs instead of the 2x packs of 6 that I ordered. There was no retail packaging and I am currently waiting to hear back from Vetmed USA for a customer service response. I have purchased these tent pegs before and they work great, I have no issue with the actual product.

These stakes are incredibly strong. Of course they are designed for sand n soil that is soft to medium-hard. I used them in medium grass soil. I can't imagine how people break these unless the are using them on very hard soil/rock where skinny metal should b used and/or people are miss hitting these w a hammer. I use a mallot and when they go in they are staying.

I purchased these as replacements for the thin metal anchors provided for my beach tent. They work much better! After staking them down, I pour water over the sand to help provide better holding.

I like the pegs very juch. good length and light weight. Good value at a reasonable price.

Perfect for dry conditions, but you will need to be VERY strong if you want to remove these pegs from clay or moist, wet soil. They go deep and can be very difficult to remove. These pegs are sturdy and probably strong enough to make you tent stay up in hurricane force winds. Of course the fabric would be ripped to shreds, but the pegs would be secure.
