My husband and I enjoy hiking, and he is always on the lookout for comfortable and functional gear. These Columbia Hike Jogger pants have become his new favorites. They are lightweight and breathable, perfect for warm weather hikes, yet durable enough to withstand rugged trails. The jogger style provides a comfortable fit with plenty of flexibility. He has worn them on several hikes now, and they have held up perfectly. If you're searching for comfortable and stylish hiking pants, I highly recommend these.

These joggers are perfect. The material is perfect, not too thick and not too thin. This was the perfect balance for long wear despite weather changes. The fit was great as well. It has a nice slim taper, but they don't feel too tight or restrictive. I also like that they weren't overly branded. The hardware and trim was nice as well. Pocket dept was great on front and back pockets. These joggers have been heavy in my rotation of bottoms I wear.

These are a comfortable fit for those that wear hoggers on trails or a hike because theres stretch in the hip area. Aside from that these are your standard joggers.Stitching is reinforced and the rear pocket has a button closure.

I finally got rid of two very old pairs of Columbia pants—they were a decade past their “use by” dates and had been around the world as well as down some gnarly hiking trails. I was a little nervous to try these new pants because while they looked decent, I wasn’t sure the quality and fit would be as good as the ones I had. I needn’t have worried however, because these are great.Like my old ones, they are versatile; I can wear them when traveling, hiking, or around town. They fit true to size, which means I took a medium—I am 6’ tall and 150 lbs. They are comfortable, and as a bonus, my wife mentioned how good these look on, which, well, that isn’t the usual reaction I get when I dress myself.These have an elastic waist with drawstring that is pretty forgiving, a couple of hip pockets and a back pocket that snaps closed. The ankles have elastic cuffs, which fit me just right, not tight and not ridiculously loose.These pants are 91% polyester and 9% elastane, so they have some good stretch. The fabric is medium-thin, right in that travel pant sweet spot. They also have something called Omni-Shield, which gives some water and stain resistance. I can definitely use that last one.As for care, I like that they don’t stay wrinkled, and I can wash them on cold and either put them in the dryer on low or hang them to dry. They dry nice and quickly too—another plus if you are going to travel with them.Given all of the above, I feel like these are an excellent value for the $45 price (at the time of this writing).

These polyester joggers are great for being active and are well made. I wear a size 32 in jeans and a medium fit my waist well. Unfortunately, I found the normal fit inseam to be too short for my legs. I'm 6' 1" and the bottom cuffs are 2 inches above my ankles. That may be okay for some, but not for me. If I were given the chance to review the long version I would have, but I can only speak about the regular fit. I wouldn't expect to need the long version at only 6ft tall, and it's further complicated by the lack of sizing information. I can't find the length anywhere, including Columbia's website.
