Really nice clean pair looking pair of jeans. The material reminds me of something that you would Go golfing with. These can be worn for casual everyday or to go out in And look polished. Really comfortable easy closures.

These are great pants. They are very light weight and comfortable. The waist band and material does stretch. Very well made. Bought a pair at Bass Pro then bought 2 more different colors here at a cheaper price. Length is perfect and these fit a bit loose which is how I like my pants.

My husband has been wearing the loose fit version of these pants for the last 10 years and I wanted something a little less outdated for him to work in, so I decided to buy a pair of these and see if he liked them. It took him a few hours for him to adjust to them fitting more snugly, but once he realized they had great stretch to them, he loved them!

I recently tried the Columbia Black Hiking Pants and I’m quite pleased with their versatility. These pants are sold in “jeans-style sizing” with waist and length measurements, which makes it easier to find a perfect fit.One of the standout aspects of these pants is their "not outdoor" design. With no cargo pockets, hooks, zippers, or big logos, they double as elegant slacks, especially in black. This makes them valuable on longer trips, especially when you have limited carry capacity like I often to, i.e. while camping or flying just with a carry- on.The wallet pockets in the back are positioned high and I find this to be a nice touch as it prevents unsightly sagging.However, I did encounter a minor issue with the fit. The front doesn’t fit me perfectly and the side pockets tend to open slightly. I suspect this means I should have chosen a size wider. It's something to be mindful of when ordering.Overall, the Columbia Black Hiking Pants are a great blend of functionality and style.
